I purchased my Orca pack to use as a pack out for range training and quick go setup. Materials and build are quality and pack size is compact yet roomy. Lots of add on availability and comfortable.
I wanted a backpack for hiking, so I looked around at the options available online. I viewed several before looking at the Orca Tactical pack. I debated the merits of the 34L vs the 40L packs before settling on the smaller pack. It's all I need.
It has the rugged build that is typical of Orca Tactical gear. The pockets are generously cut and are in the right places. It's also designed for both small and large people - meaning that the chest and waist straps will fit almost anyone. The shoulder straps are comfortable and, despite the thick, durable nylon, it weighs very little. I definitely recommend adding the H20 Water Bottle Carrier as well. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase - but then again, I'm an Orca Tactical fan (having purchased two range bags and several molle pouches prior to buying the backpack).
I bought mine to use as a laptop backpack for when I go working in the field, it’s great it fits everything perfectly it is a well-made bag and the really nice thing is the CEO of orca personally sent me a message about how much I like the bag. That personal service will not required is a very nice sentiment, it was enough I ordered a medical pouch just for my IFAK which stays in the vehicle at all times
