I took this backpack to South Africa twice as a carry-on for those items you need if your luggage is lost or too valuable to take chance (binoculars, 35mm camera, rangefinder, etc.) It was very useful during the hunts to keep the dust out of all items. I have had two of them (different sizes) since 2018 and they are as functional today as when I received them. The number and varied size of pockets is a big plus to easily find your different items. The zippers are robust.
This bag works very well for daily use and on the go!
Lightweight and handy. Flexible fitment and organization. Downright tough.
The only reason I'm only giving 4 out of 5 stars is the sheer number of leftover threads on the stitching.
Fearing I would snag or tear the bag, I quickly burned/melted every last thread to the base...oh so many. My guess is this is just a byproduct of production.
No harm done. Solid A.
Wanted to upgrade to a more durable pack for daily/hiking use and searched many different brands. Choose this Orca pack and glad I did. Went out with it the day after I received it. Packed it with 2-32 oz water bottles 40 oz thermos. Cups for hot chocolate. Lunch pouch filled with food for 5 people. Bag of grapes. Bag of granola. An extra pair of jeans for the 8yr old. Knife, flashlight, small med kit. I didn't try to pack it tight. Just threw it all in there quickly and the pack still had room. Pack was comfortable and stood on it's base without tipping over. I very much liked the Orca Thank You card in the pack as well. It asked to be notified of any issue before posting social media complaints and I felt that was honest and sincere. I did not have any issues with my pack but feel that if I had, Orca would have remedied it promptly. I'm happy with my purchase!
Well designed. Well made. Top notch materials and packed with features. All backed up with customer service that is second to none! Thanks Orca keep up the good work!
